Muhammad Ali Biography
- Muhammad Ali born in America who belonged to a poor family.
- His father was a sign painter. Mother was a house wife who sometime worked in people houses when they need money.
- At the age of 13 his bike was stolen. He went to police station to report and also want to hit the thief who stolen his bicycle. The police officer Joe Martin told him first to learn how to fight before fight.
- Muhammad Ali started his career with Martin who was had a part time boxing school where he teach children how to fight.
- Muhammad Ali fought and won his first fight in 1954.
- He won Golden gloves championship and Amateur Athletic Union(AAU) at National level.
- In 1960 Muhammad Ali won a match in U.S Olympic team and then he travelled to Italy where he won the light heavyweight Olympic gold medal.
- He inspired by the speech of Muslim(Controversial Muslim) Speaker Malcom X and converted to Islam in 1964.
- Muhammad Ali first married to Sonji Roi in 1964 and divorced his wife after a year of marriage.
- Ali drafted into military in 1967 where he refused to fought Vietnam war due to his strong religious beliefs. This decision was very controversial and he jailed for three years from the court.
- Ali Married to Belinda Boyd in 1967.
- He returned to ring in 1970 and lost his heavyweight Weight Championship. He regained the heavyweight in 1974 and again in 1978.
- Muhammad Ali divorced Boyd in 1976. He had four Childs from her.
- He married to Veronica Porche in 1977 and divorced her in 1986. They had two children’s in common.
- He died on 3 June 2016.
