  • Appointed as the Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in December 2016.

  • Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General on November 25, 2020, and appointed as Inspector General Communications and Information Technology until August 2022.
  • Appointed as Quetta Corps Commander in August 2022 after the death of Lt General Sarfraz Ali in an air crash and continued to hold command until November 2023.
