Erdogan As Politician
- In the Early politics he was the youth leader of National Salvation Party.
- In 1994 Erdogan elected as the Mayor of Istanbul , Turkey.
- Erdogan was religious from the beginning because of his family background. He recited a poem “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers …” which includes religious hatred. On the basis of that speech in 1997, Court announced him imprisonment of 10 months in 1999, which was later reduced to 4 months.
