• Abdul Hafeez Sheikh is a Pakistani economist and politician.
• He has held various positions in the government, including Finance Minister of Pakistan, Provincial Minister for Finance and Planning in Sindh, and advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue.
• Sheikh has served multiple terms as a member of the Senate of Pakistan.
• He has degrees in Economics from prestigious universities such as Boston University, Stanford University, Harvard University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
• Sheikh’s academic career includes teaching at Harvard University and advising several countries on economic policies.
• He authored a book on Argentina’s privatization program.
• Sheikh’s political career began in 2000 when he became the Provincial Minister of Sindh for Finance and Planning.
