• Amir Khan began boxing competitively at the age of 11 when he was in school.
• Khan won three titles in school. ( Gold Medal   (2003 Junior Olympics  )) .
• King won a gold medal at the European Student Championships in Lithuania (2004) .
• Khan qualified for the Summer Olympics (2004) by winning  AIBA European 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
