Katie Couric Life Biography/Career !

•   Katie studied at the ‘University of Virginia’ for the degree in English.  she was a ‘Delta Delta Delta’ society  member, and served the university’s newspaper,      ‘The Cavalier Daily’.
  • Katie began her career with the ABC News bureau in (1979)Washington, D.C.  she worked for CNN as an Assignment Editor.
  • She also served as Reporter for WTVJ in Miami and NBC’s WRC-TV
  • Katie joined NBC News (In 1989) as Deputy Pentagon Correspondent. For the next two years, Couric substituted for the host (Today), co-anchor (Sunday Today) and co-host (‘NBC News at Sunrise ).
  • Katie Couric hosted several specials Programs  ‘Legend to Legend Night: A Celebrity Cavalcade’’Everybody’s Business: America’s Children’, and ‘Harry Potter: Behind the Magic’, and also  co-hosted the Olympic Games’ opening ceremonies.
  • Katie was the first anchor to reach Port au Prince to report the Haiti Earthquake. She also covered  the Egyptian Revolution, and Prince William’s wedding.
  • Katie Couric is anchoring a weekly  show called, ‘Katie’s Take’ ( ABC News ). It includes discussions with experts in various fields.
