Who was Syed Ali Raza Abidi ?
Syed Ali Raza Abidi was a Pakistani politician ( MQM ) who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, from June 2013 to May 2018.There was some controversy surrounding his seat as a MNA as he allegedly resigned from his position recently when he joined Pak Sar zameen party and thus left MQM. Abidi was one of the leaders who had stood with former convener Farooq Sattar in the buildup to 2018 elections when MQM-P was subject to an internal power battle.
Ali Raza Abdi Had many meetings with Asif Ali Asif ali zardari which we both didn’t share with media. He was about to join PPP before GE 2018.
He was shot dead in Karachi on 25 Dec 2018. The targeted gun attack took place outside his residence ((Khayaban-e-Ghazi street in DHA’s Phase V) in Karachi . He sustained injuries and was taken to PNS Shifa hospital by his father, Akhlaq Abidi.
ALI was quite active on Twitter, with his last tweet coming just four hours before the fatal attack on him.
